Job Role: Jr System Administrator

The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, workstations, and network devices. 
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. 
  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues related to operating systems, applications, and connectivity. 
  • Perform routine system backups and recovery procedures. 
  • Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures. 
  • Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes. 
  • Support IT asset management and inventory tracking. 
  • Collaborate with senior administrators on infrastructure projects and upgrades. 

Qualifications: 

  • Basic understanding of Windows/Linux/Mac operating systems. 
  • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking protocols. 
  • Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery. 
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). 
  • Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, etc.). 
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Shell script, Bash, PowerShell, Python) is a plus. 
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
